Sexually transmitted infections

On this page

A Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) is one that's passed on through sexual contact.

Some STIs are passed on directly by having sex. Others can be passed on through skin-to-skin contact that happens when having sex.

Many STIs have no symptoms. The sooner an STI is diagnosed, the sooner you can receive treatment. If you are worried about STIs, please do not hesitate to get checked out.
