05th June 2026
Daylight App For Anxiety And Worry The Daylight app provides a flexible, user-friendly way for people to access support at a time and place that suits them.

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is pleased to support the Daylight  app, an innovative, free digital tool designed to support mental health and wellbeing across Argyll and Bute.

The Daylight app offers accessible, evidence-based guidance to help individuals manage worry and anxiety. Available on smartphones and tablets, the app provides users with practical tools, personalised support and daily techniques grounded in cognitive behavioural approaches, empowering people to take positive steps toward improved mental health.

Key aspects of the Daylight app:

How it works: the app guides users through techniques such as Worry Time, Thought Challenger and Applied Relaxation

Access method: users can sign up and create a personal, encrypted account through trydaylight.com/nhs

Targeted use: it is suitable for those experiencing high anxiety or worry, but it is not intended to be a substitute for medical treatment or crisis care.

This initiative forms part of the HSCP’s ongoing commitment to enhancing early intervention and prevention services, ensuring residents can access timely support wherever they are. With many communities spread across rural and island locations, digital solutions like Daylight help bridge gaps in access and bring support services closer to home.

Samantha Somers, Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Lead said, “Supporting the mental wellbeing of our communities is a top priority. The Daylight app provides a flexible, user-friendly way for people to access support at a time and place that suits them. We hope it will make a real difference, particularly for those who may face barriers to accessing traditional services.”

The app is free to download and can be accessed confidentially, offering a safe and supportive space for individuals to build resilience and develop sleep coping strategies.
