Homeless health care

The Homeless Healthcare Service supports the health and wellbeing of those experiencing homelessness in the Inverness area.

Homelessness includes sleeping rough, sofa surfing, being in temporary accommodation or if you have accommodation but can’t reasonably stay there, for example due to risks you are experiencing. If you aren’t sure if that is you, get in touch with us to discuss.

What we do

  • general health checks - nurse, support worker and part-time GP support
  • mental health support
  • addiction support - advice, harm reduction and referral for drug and alcohol issues
  • sexual health services - confidential testing and advice
  • signposting and support - referrals to housing, benefits, community services
  • support with GP registration
