About the service

The Type 2 Diabetes Food and Health Service is part of the Nutrition and Dietetic service supporting people who are living with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.

The service helps people explore their relationship with food and health in a supportive and non-judgemental way to make meaningful changes.

We recognise that managing diabetes and wider health outcomes are influenced by life circumstances such as social, emotional and environmental factors, as well as lifestyle.

We offer practical support, education and simple strategies to help you feel more confident in managing your condition and improving your overall health and wellbeing.
