Social media guidelines

On this page

Everyone should feel welcome on our social media accounts - please help us to keep it that way.

The purpose of our social media accounts is to present matters of public interest and updates on the activity of a service or group. Social media is an important engagement channel for our organisation, helping us reach a more diverse audience with our messages. We regularly post matters of public interest and provide updates on activity across our Health Board area, including vaccination clinics, job vacancies and campaigns.

Important: Avoid sharing confidential information

If you know confidential medical details, whether yours or someone else's, please:

  • do not post these on social media channels (including Facebook Messenger)
  • do not share them by email or by phone, other than with known and trusted medical professionals when necessary
