Healthcare Associated Infection

NHS Highland takes the issue of infection control extremely seriously. We are working hard to reduce the rate of healthcare associated infections (HAIs) across our hospitals and other premises.

We are also committed to providing open and transparent information on healthcare associated infections and the actions we are taking to tackle them.

This page provides links to our current and previous HAI reports. These reports are considered by the NHS Highland Board at its monthly meetings.

The reports include data on HAIs rates across our hospitals as well as highlighting key issues and actions.
