The latest issue (October 2015) of NHS Highland News is now available on-line. The 16-page publication covers a diverse range of topics.
Readers will discover what a working day is really like at Caithness General Hospital, and read candid stories of people whose lives have been affected by ill-health, such as a cancer patient who had a lung removed.
And, broadening the health discussion, the publication's lead article tackles stigma, revealing its many forms and the consequences of people’s behaviour towards others.
Every day NHS Highland generates life-changing stories. The 16-page paper can share only some but they are about your local health and social care services, and what many volunteers have done to support them, from fund raising to organ donation. It also includes an article on the National conversation about health and social care services and how people can take part.
This issue of NHS Highland News comes in two editions, one for Highland Council area and one for Argyll and Bute.
