Arrangements for NHS Patients receiving Private Healthcare

In response to the extensive discussion and debate throughout the UK on the issue of NHS patients who wish to pay for additional private care, the Scottish Government is reviewing guidance to the NHS on this issue and sought the views of a variety of stakeholders.
The consultation period was extremely tight. To give patients and public members an opportunity to hear about the consultation and to generate some discussion, a short on-line discussion forum was set up and managed by NHS Highland. In total, 6 individuals participated in the discussion forum and here is a copy of their report.
