Q - Who should the cheque be made payable to?
A - Cheque should be made payable ‘Highland Health Board Endowment Funds’.
Q - How can I donate?
A - There are a number of different ways to donate to your chosen Ward/ Department/Hospital. Please click here to find out how.
Q - How will my donation be used?
A - Your donation will be used to purchase additional amenities for the benefit of both patients and staff. Helping to improve the overall treatment and care provided to patients. If you wish, you can specify a particular use or purpose for your donation, i.e. to purchase a particular piece of equipment.
Q - Can I specify which hospital/ward/department benefits from my donation?
A - Yes, just let us know who you want to benefit (whether it be a Hospital, Ward, Department or even a particular area) and we will ensure your donation is credited to that Fund.
Q - What is Gift Aid?
A - Gift Aid is where a donor gives their donations tax-effectively, charities can claim additional monies from the Inland Revenue each year. Currently, using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.50 just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.
So if you want your donation to go further, Gift Aid it.
Q - Can I leave something in my will?
A - Yes, if you wish to leave something in your will, please ask your Solicitor to contact the Endowments Section, by telephone or post.
