In June 2008 NHS Highland asked patients, carers and the public to get involved in chosing the appropriate key patient focus and public involvement actions for the forthcoming year which we report in detail to the Scottish Health Council. 

From the feedback we received from you we drew together and focused the number down to seven key actions.  The actions were all linked to the Board's work on meeting national health targets or other national or strategic priorities. 

Throughout the year the Local Office of the Scottish Health Council supported and checked progress on the activites.
