Local services
The CHP has 35 GP practices, 1 rural District General Hospital (Lorn & Islands, Oban)
6 Community Hospitals and 1 Mental Health Hospital (Argyll and Bute, Lochgilphead). We also offer community based services such as Pharmacists, Dentists, Opticians, Community Mental Health, District Nursing, Health Visiting, Speech & Language Services, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and District Nursing.
Our aim is to establish and develop high quality local services with health services, social services, carers, patients and voluntary organisations working closely together to provide services that meet your needs. We want to make sure that the right care is delivered at the right time and in the most appropriate place. We will also work to help people in Argyll and Bute to be healthier.
