How to register

Find Your Nearest dental practice in the NHS Highland area. Contact the practice of your choice directly to arrange an appointment, or to be put on a waiting list to register. You may not be offered a registration appointment immediately.

All dental practices listed here have contracted with the Health Board to provide NHS dentistry. However, patients should note that a dentist is not obliged to accept all patients for NHS dental treatment.

If you have limited mobility you may wish to ensure that the practice will be accessible for you.

If you are unregistered and experiencing dental pain, or have any other queries, contact the dental helpline in your area.

Practices currently registering new patients

Dental practices currently registering new patients in the Highland HSCP and Argyll and Bute HSCP areas for NHS services are listed below. Call the practice to express an interest, or use a form if provided.

If a parent or guardian is a patient of a practice, often (but not always) the practice will be able to register their child as an NHS patient. 

These lists are correct at the time of publishing and are updated regularly, but could be subject to change at short notice due to demand.
