The colorectal unit based at Raigmore Hospital provides colorectal surgical services for patients across NHS Highland.
A service for patients with colorectal cancer and complex benign disease is also provided to NHS Western Isles.
The colorectal unit currently consists of 7 consultant surgeons, 4 colorectal nurse specialists, 2 stoma nurses, a physician associate, an MDT coordinator, surgical specialty trainees, research fellows and a number of associated allied health professionals and administrative staff.
