NHS Highland has been informed by the owner of the Skye and Lochalsh Dental Practice that the Practice will close permanently from February 2023.
NHS Highland is currently in communication with the Practice owner and Practice Business Manager regarding the closure.
John Lyon, NHS Highland’s Director of Dentistry, said: “We regret to announce that the owner of Skye and Lochalsh Dental Practice in Kyle of Lochalsh has confirmed the Practice will close permanently in early 2023”.
“This has been a very difficult decision for the owner and we are providing support to the Practice. We are also discussing alternative arrangements for the patients who are registered with the Practice. Registered dental patients will be contacted directly by the Dental Practice shortly”.
Patients will have access to emergency dental care from the Practice until the closure in February.
