Early career
Ariane found traditional academic settings challenging and struggled to achieve success in conventional learning environments. However, everything changed when she began working at a local nursing home, where she discovered her natural abilities and passion for caring. This hands-on experience revealed her true potential in ways that classroom learning never had.
Career journey
Her positive experience in the nursing home opened doors to a career in health and social care. Ariane joined NHS Highland as a support worker, where she earned her first vocational qualification, a Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2 (SVQ L2). This marked the beginning of her journey of continuous professional development within the NHS.
Current role
Ariane currently serves as a Project Manager for the adult social care leadership team at NHS Highland. She is also pursuing her Social Work Degree through distance learning, with full support from NHS Highland. Her role allows her to contribute to strategic initiatives while continuing to develop her expertise in social care.
