A single reception service provided by Aviemore Medical Practice receives patients and visitors to the hospital. A communal waiting area is in place where clinicians meet patients.

All inpatient services, X-ray and outpatient services have relocated here from the Ian Charles and St Vincent's hospitals. There are 24 beds in the hospital. 20 beds are staffed, with the remaining 4 beds being available for future demand.

Health and social care community staff and Highland Council children’s services are based here. Aviemore Medical Practice and the Scottish Ambulance Service have relocated here.
