Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Frances Macgregor as the new Occupational Therapy (OT) Team Lead for Bute.
Frances has recently taken up her post and brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in a variety of occupational therapy roles both locally and off the island over many years. This broad professional background has given her a strong understanding of community-based care as well as wider health and social care systems.
With her extensive expertise and in-depth knowledge of local needs and services, Frances is well placed to support individuals, families, and carers across Bute. Her experience will play a key role in strengthening service delivery, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for people who use occupational therapy services.
Welcoming the appointment, Linda Currie Associate AHP Director, Argyll and Bute HSCP, NHS Highland, said: “We are delighted to welcome Frances to her new role in the Bute team. Her combination of local knowledge and wider professional experience will be a valuable asset to both our services and the community.”
Frances Macgregor has expressed her enthusiasm for the role and is looking forward to working closely with colleagues, partners, patients, and families. She is committed to continuing the development of high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services across Bute.
