NHS Highland's 2024-25 Annual Review meeting will be held on Tuesday 18 November 2025, with the public invited to attend the afternoon session from 2-3pm, either online or in person at the MacDonald Resort Hotel in Aviemore.
While it is possible to ask questions during the session if attending in person, we ask if members of the public can submit questions in advance, to help questions be fully answered on the day.
The review is an opportunity for Health Boards to reflect on their performance over a 12-month period and for the public to ask questions of the executive management and Board leadership.
NHS Highland Chair Sarah Compton-Bishop said: "Our Annual Review will be in Aviemore this year, and we welcome the public to join us either in person or virtually. This will be an opportunity for us to explain the progress we've made over the past year, and outline some of the challenges faced by NHS boards, particularly in remote and rural areas, as well as the chance to look to the future.
"Please send in your questions for our Executive and Board colleagues and we will ask a selection of these at the public meeting. We will also post answers to others online."

Patient and Carer Representative meeting
As part of the Annual Review, NHS Highland is also hosting a dedicated Patient and Carer Representative meeting. This special session offers up to 12 residents the opportunity to meet directly with Sarah Compton-Bishop and Chief Executive Fiona Davies to discuss their experience of services and care and to ask questions.
We particularly want to reach people that we haven't engaged with before, in order to share this opportunity and help people who would like to share their experience. The meeting can be attended either in person or online via Microsoft Teams, with expenses available for those wishing to attend in person.
The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 10 October. This will allow time to arrange a pre-meeting with everyone attending, as well as to make arrangements for any support needed. Places are limited, so please get back in touch as soon as possible in order to secure a place.
For more information or to express your interest in attending the Patient and Carer Representative meeting, please contact Marie McIlwraith:
