Caroline Robertson appointed as Head of Hospitals and Community Care

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is delighted to announce that Caroline Robertson has been appointed as Head of Hospitals and Community Care.

Caroline, who took up her new role on 8 September 2025, joins the HSCP from Combat Stress, a UK-leading Veterans’ Mental Health Charity, where she was Head of Operations, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  The charity provides clinical treatment and support for veterans from the British Armed Forces, focusing on those with complex mental health issues resulting from their experiences during military service.

Caroline, who is also a registered social worker and trained mental health officer, has also has worked extensively in other HSCPs across Scotland and has held senior operational and strategic leadership roles and been heavily involved in strategic planning and the roll out of integrated services. 

Caroline Robertson said:
