People across Argyll and Bute are being invited to have their say on a document that outlines how health and social care functions and services are delegated across Argyll and Bute.
In 2016, Argyll and Bute Council and NHS Highland formed the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) to improve support for people with complex needs by integrating health and social care services.
A Scheme of Integration agreed in 2016 provides information about what health and social care functions and services the HSCP will deliver. The council and NHS Highland must review this agreement every five years by law and then submit it to the Scottish Government for approval.
Argyll and Bute Council and NHS Highland have recently updated the current scheme and are now consulting with communities to ask for views on any proposed changes.
The consultation will run for a period of six weeks from 25 August to 19 October 2025. A copy of the revised scheme, together with a summary of the proposed changes is available on the NHS Highland Engagement Hub.
