A new online Mental Health Hub is now available to help people in Argyll and Bute find the right support for their mental health and wellbeing.
Created for Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), the hub is designed for anyone in the area looking for help, advice or support with mental health.
The site brings together trusted information about local and national services and makes it easy to find what you need. Whether you’re looking for help for yourself or someone else, the hub is a one-stop place to get started.
You’ll find information on:
- 24/7 helplines and support services
- support for children and young people
- help for older adults
- advice on money or housing worries
- free mental health and suicide prevention training
- tips on self-care and looking after your mental wellbeing
- when to call NHS 24 Mental Health Hub (phone 111, option 2), when to phone 999 or go to A&E
The hub is easy to use and includes support for people from a wide range of backgrounds and needs. There’s also information for carers, friends and family, and free training to help people feel more confident in supporting mental health - whether it’s their own or someone else’s.
Samantha Campbell, Health Improvement Principal at Argyll and Bute HSCP, said: “We’re pleased to launch this hub to make mental health support easier to find for everyone in Argyll and Bute. It’s all about helping people get the right support at the right time - whether they’re struggling themselves or supporting someone else.”
