Kelly Webb, a dedicated Trainee Orthodontic Therapist with Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), has completed her orthodontic theory examinations through NHS Education for Scotland, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Orthodontic therapists contribute to the clinic management of patients requiring hospital service orthodontic treatment, working closely with registered specialist orthodontists in order to facilitate patient care and treatment.
Kelly’s training represents an example of true multi-disciplinary working across the entire board area. Throughout her training journey, she has received support from the orthodontic teams at Oban, Mid Argyll and Raigmore hospitals, successfully integrating clinical training, academic study, and support for the Public Dental Service.
Stacey Keane, Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership Dental Business Development and Operations Manager, remarked: "We take great pride in Kelly Webb's achievements and look forward to her ongoing success as she completes her training. On behalf of the HSCP, I would like to extend my best wishes to Kelly for a long and successful career."
