A new service called the Single Point of Access has been launched in Lochaber to help local residents quickly and easily connect with health and social care services.
The Single Point of Access (SPOA) service in Lochaber is here to help you connect with the right health and care services.
Anyone in Lochaber can contact the SPOA service, including members of the public, family members, friends, Power of Attorney representatives, General Practitioners (GPs), nurse practitioners, police (via concern forms), adult concern forms from the public, Highland Council, hospitals and Third Sector organizations.
By using this approach, the SPOA team aim to make sure you are referred for assessment or for the help you may need without unnecessary delays.
If you need assistance or wish to make a referral, you can contact the Lochaber SPOA team directly:
- phone 01397 709 832
- email at nhsh.lochaberdistrict@nhs.scot
The team is available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm. If you require urgent support outside of these hours, please contact the Emergency Social Work Service:
- phone 0808 175 3646
