Ways to support the Highland Health Board Charity
Across the vast and rural landscapes of the NHS Highland areas of Highland and Argyll and Bute, access to high quality healthcare can be a challenge. The Highland Health Board Endowment Funds - also known as the Highland Health Board Charity - is the official charity of NHS Highland. It exists to bridge this gap - funding specialised equipment, enhancing patient environments and supporting the wellbeing of our NHS Highland staff and communities.
Your donation enables life-changing improvements that go beyond what the NHS alone can provide. From funding new neonatal equipment for our busy general hospital, to supporting mental health recovery programmes in isolated communities - we turn your generosity into real, measurable impact.
We focus where help is needed most, and where others often can’t reach. What makes us different? We’re local, we’re focused, and every penny stays in Highland and Argyll and Bute.
Together we can ensure everyone, no matter how remote their postcode, receives the compassionate, cutting-edge care they deserve.
Support us today. Make health and hope possible in the Highlands.

Your tribute can leave a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Leave a lasting legacy
Leave a lasting legacy with a gift in your Will. After making sure your loved ones are provided for, you might consider leaving a gift to a cause close to your heart. Many people choose to support NHS charities in their Will, helping the NHS do more than would otherwise be possible.
Gifts left to the Highland Health Board Charity can help fund advanced equipment, support staff wellbeing, improve patient care and drive forward innovation that benefits generations to come. By including the Charity in your Will, you're creating a lasting thank you – one that helps care for our communities across the Highlands, now and in the future.
Has NHS Highland been there when you needed it most? Whether they rushed someone you love to specialist care just in time, supported a family member with compassion and dignity, or helped you recover and regain your independence - these moments matter.
By leaving a gift in your Will to the Highland Health Board Charity, you're saying thank you in a way that keeps giving - helping to improve care, support staff, and enhance NHS services for generations to come. All donations received stay in the NHS Highland area.
We’ve created a free guide to help you through the process. It includes practical steps for writing or updating your Will, as well as things to consider when deciding how you’d like to leave a legacy. If you’re thinking about remembering us in your will and have questions, please contact us.
