This document brings together the following information about the four CHPs of NHS Highland from the following perspectives:
- Demographic profile in terms of population size and structure by locality within
CHP.
- Mortality profile in terms of broad disease group within each CHP.
- Deprivation profiles using the Scottish Indices of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD06) to examine the spread of deprivation by datazone within each CHP.
The aim of this profile is to gain an understanding of these dynamics within each CHP and to faciliate comparisons between the CHPs.
