Argyll & Bute CHP Committee Meeting

23/11/2007   |  Argyll & Bute

Members of the public from across Argyll and Bute are invited to attend future meetings of the Argyll & Bute Community Health Partnership (CHP) Committee and will be able to ask questions of members at the end of the meeting during a question and answer session.

Bill Brackenridge, Argyll & Bute CHP Chairman, said:

“Members of the Argyll & Bute Community HeaIth Partnership Committee are keen for local communities across Argyll and Bute to come along to our meetings to find out more about what is happening with health services in their own area and to have an opportunity to raise any issues that they may have.

“All our meetings of the CHP Committee are open to the public to allow them to observe the proceedings and to raise issues and concerns at the end of the meeting during a question and answer session.

“The next meeting of the Committee takes place on 29th November in Cove and Kilcreggan Burgh Hall with the actual Committee business from 1.00pm to 3.15pm and the question and answer session from 3.15pm to 3.45pm.

“We were one of the first CHPs in Scotland to open up our meetings and I would be delighted if members of the public came along to find out more about the provision of health services in their area.

“Our plan is to hold future meetings of the Committee in various locations across Argyll and Bute to give everyone an opportunity to attend.  If anyone would like to find out more information about future dates please get in touch or look out for the public notice in their local newspaper.”
