Public engagement work in NHS Highland is assessed by the Scottish Health Council (SHC) throughout each year.  SHC have been looking at ten particular targets over the last year.  Details of this assessment (between April 2007 and March 2008) can be seen via the following links:

Summary Assessment and Case Studies - an outline of what public engagement has been going on during the last year, with case studies used as examples.  A Polish version is also available.

Full Portfolio Document - this was used as a cumulative record throughout the year, and was added to as projects progressed.  It was not primarily intended for public use, and so is not particularly ‘user-friendly’.  We've uploaded it here because it could be of interest if you want to know more details about each target.  Evidence has been ‘embedded’ in the original document, but those links will not activate from here.  If you would like any more information about any evidence cited in the document, please call the Public Engagement Team on 01463 704862 or email getinvolved.nhshighland@nhs.net.  This also shows commentary and evaluation by the Scottish Health Council.
