Key Patient Focus and Public Involvement Actions for 2009/10

Each year, Scotland’s NHS Boards are required to set out a minimum of six key actions on patient focus and public involvement, linked to the Boards’ work on meeting national health targets or other national or strategic priorities.

From the feedback we received in June 2009 from members of NHS Highland's Public Partnership Forums, Community Councils and Voluntary and Carer Organisations we agreed the six key actions.  Throughout the year the Local Office of the Scottish Health Council supported and checked progress on the activities.

You can find the NHS Highland Patient Focus and Public Invovlement Self Assessment Report 2009-10 which sums up the progress made here.

Thank you to all the individuals and groups who took the time to share their views and work with us in these and the many other projects and service changes that are taking place in NHS Highland.

If you have any questions about the report then please contact the Public Involvement Team on (01463) 704903 or Email: getinvolved.nhshighland@nhs.net
